It is true that I am not presenting anything new, but I am formulating it for you in a simple, easy and often tested way, for I love honesty.

Corn hair, the often overlooked and underappreciated part of the corn plant, has a plethora of benefits that many people are unaware of. While most people may simply discard it as waste corn hair actually has a variety of medical uses, particularly in treating prostate issues and relieving associated pain. In China, corn hair is widely used in traditional medicine and is even incorporated into a popular recipe for corn tea.

One of the most well-known benefits of corn hair is its ability to treat prostate issues. The prostate is a small gland located below the bladder in men and problems with this gland can lead to a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, such as frequent urination, difficulty urinating  and pain in the pelvic area. Corn hair has been found to be effective in reducing inflammation in the prostate and alleviating these symptoms.

In traditional Chinese medicine, corn hair is often used in the treatment of prostate issues. It is believed to have diuretic properties  which can help to reduce swelling and inflammation in the prostate gland. Additionally, corn hair is thought to have a soothing effect on the urinary tract, making it easier for men with prostate issues to urinate more comfortably.

One popular way to incorporate corn hair into a daily routine is by making corn tea. This simple yet effective recipe involves steeping dried corn hair in hot water to create a soothing and refreshing beverage. Corn tea is believed to have a variety of health benefits, including improving digestion, reducing inflammation, and promoting overall well-being.

Despite the numerous benefits of corn hair, it is often overlooked in Western medicine and is not widely used in treatments for prostate issues. This is a shame  as corn hair has the potential to provide relief for many men suffering from prostate problems. Perhaps if more people were aware of the benefits of corn hair, it would be more widely accepted and utilized in medical treatments.

In conclusion  the hair of the corn plant may seem insignificant to some  but it actually has a variety of medical uses, particularly in treating prostate issues and relieving associated pain. In China, corn hair is highly valued in traditional medicine and is even incorporated into a popular recipe for corn tea. It is time for Western medicine to take note of the benefits of corn hair and start utilizing this natural remedy in the treatment of prostate issues. After all who knew that something as simple as corn hair could hold the key to relieving prostate pain and improving overall health?

  1. Wow thanks for sharing this. This post was suggested after reading your other useful post on cornflour.
It’s corn season here and we boiled some the other day. While removing it’s protective covering, I told my sister in law that this cornhair is very useful, I’m glad to read something reconfirming that!

  11. Great post! It’s interesting to see the contrast between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. It seems like there’s a lot we can learn from other cultures. I wonder if any studies or scientific research are supporting the use of corn hair for prostate issues.🤝🌷

    1. Yes, there are studies and experiments, but international companies want to monopolize resources and high profits at the expense of the citizen. Many in Egypt offer prescriptions and treatments even for cancer. Companies and doctors also fight them under the pretext that they are myths. In the past, was there any treatment except with herbs? You would not find any disease or sick person except for a few
