One day I decided to go to a doctor in Mohandiseen, which is far from Cairo. The distance is easier and shorter by metro
We went and were returning there on the stairs leading to the metro. I found a whistling little girl selling tissues and some small things. I wanted to buy from her so that I could give her a lot of money. I would take a bag of tissues so as not to embarrass her. I wanted to give her fifty pounds, as much as she and her family sold. It is clear that they are in need.
At those moments, I found her sleeping with her school bag still on her back and lying on her side
I gently called her, “Get up, my love.” But she was so deep in sleep that she could not hear me. My daughter told me to leave her, mother. Many people sell tissues.
😭I told her I didn’t want the tissues. I wanted to buy everything she had so she could go to her mother and rest in her house. I was crying. 😭
But I could never wake her up. She was asleep like the dead
But she was beautiful like an angel. Her face was beautiful and very clean, and her hair was yellow. She was truly beautiful. I have never forgotten her face.
My daughter told me to sit next to her until she wakes up, and I told her no
