There are many historical events, but I do not like them. Most of them are gains and losses, which are often based on the injustice of one party, and sometimes I do not believe history. I have lived and witnessed it. Those who chronicle history have been unjust. Perhaps after many years they will write the truth, but the first image remains the apparent one that resides in people’s minds.
Therefore, the most important historical event of my era is the day my son Ahmed was born
Not because he was a boy, so there is no difference between them. I love them all
But the day he was born, a unique story happened that I will tell you
When I went into labor, I was traveling to an Arab country, far away from my mother and family. I have friends who love me very much. My friend came to keep me company and sit with me. She stayed with me and made me a drink of fenugreek and scrambled eggs. She insisted because it was very bitter, hahaha. I took it from her and drank, and it appeared that it had a strong effect, making me labor pregnant, as we call it in Egypt. Like a fierce war, after my tolerance and calm while I was in… My home, as I told my husband to bring me a midwife. I will not be able to go to the hospital. My husband went and my persistent friend went looking, too.
And in their absence, I felt a flood sweeping away from me. Oh my God, my son fell to the ground and his head was broken. Lalalawala, with the speed of lightning, picked up a mattress. A mattress, and I put it on the bed and threw myself on it so that my son could start screaming with great joy. I was overcome with pain as well to push my son to the other side. I quietly pulled out the mattress and parked it next to him and put the end of the cover on him so that he would not get cold. My husband, my friend, and most of our friends came to find that everything had happened.
