There are many words that I say, almost all of them are my favorite. The word “favor” or “you prefer” is the word “welcome,” which is inviting someone to come in or to eat or drink. It is a favorite word among all Egyptians. In homes, on the street, in a café or café, anywhere you will find an Egyptian who prefers you and does your duty no matter what this duty is, even if you do not. He knows you and will offer you help. Good, genuine and generous people. This Egyptian, whether man, woman or youth, will open his home to you. He will share his food with you. You will not feel alienated in my home, or the home of any Egyptian. When you walk in Egypt, you will hear that word often. Please come with all welcome. He gestures with his hand and raises it in a greeting of peace.
So that is my favorite word, prefer or favor, as if you prefer the guest over yourself. Yes, whoever comes to my house will have preference even over my household. Here our religion is Islam. They prefer themselves, even if they are poor. Its meaning is that he will prefer you over himself, even if he is poor.
